I tried. I really tried...

At the recommendation of a couple of my readers, I looked into using Spreadshirt as a potential venue to do things like shirts, mugs, tote bags, etc. for additional sales type ideas.  Since it came well recommended (and the other usual suspects Cafepress and Zazzle roundly condemned), I figured it was definitely an avenue I should look into.  I wasn't overly impressed with their idea of a payment schedule- quarterly and only if you make over $25...if I only sell one or two items, I don't start getting paid until my royalty exceeds their minimum sale?  Hmm...   Still, it's better than nothing, I guess, and if that's what people want...

Apparently nothing I can do to my imagery meets their "quality requirements".  I resized, rescaled, polarized, twisted things into alternate configurations and file types to try and get them to meet the required specs...  Nothing.  As near as I can tell, they and I have a very serious disagreement on what should be printed.

So, I'm open to alternate suggestions.  Really, I wouldn't think that this would be so hard to print!

  2. Thanks! Took the base photo down one of the side streets off Market Square in Portsmouth yesterday morning. :)

Eventually I might take up screenprinting, if nothing else to get away from dealing with middle men, but at the moment it's well outside what I can afford. :(
